This is a painting I made for my newest nephew Milo aka Blueberry. As I was finishing, I was reminded more of galaxies and planets than fruit. For more of my creations, check out my Instagram @mynameisreb.

Last week made me realize we are quickly approaching the busiest time of year. For me, these next four months are the race to the finish line to the New Year. I try to cram in finishing my goals and accomplishments for year, the holidays are fast approaching, and if you work in marketing or retail, you know that the holiday season also is the busiest time of year work wise. Life last week? What about the whole week that just happened? I know, this post would be more fitting to post earlier in the week. However, this week led to me negotiating agreement terms with music managers, helping to plan photo shoots, and many other activities that led to me arriving hope late and demanding a pizza and a bottle of wine. However, I can ensure that last week was a great week and this week was equally lovely, which you will hear about next week. Life Last Week: Time Investment & Hot Dads

It’s been about two months since I started working at Master & Dynamic. I’ve been managing both the social media and blog, which means my days are full of everything from responsive messaging to conducting interviews to planning socially-integrated partnerships. It’s a ton of work but it is rewarding. My job is essentially to find interesting creative and entrepreneurial folks and work with them to develop content highlighting their stories. It’s something I’ve always imagined doing and am pretty amazed I stumbled upon it. Continue reading “Life Last Week: Time Investment & Hot Dads”

Brief Life Update

It’s been a few months since I have written, but not for lack of motivation. The past four months have been so life changing that writing for personal use was forced to become an afterthought. I feel both grounded and elated now that things are starting to fall into place. Some highlights: Continue reading “Brief Life Update”

Life Last Week: Third Week of December; Christmas Is All Around Me

Last week was filled with holiday parties, including my office party and NY Creative Interns One Year Anniversary Bash along with little signs that showed  that not only are we in the holiday season, but this is the time of year when people think about those who are near and dear to them.  If the above photo is any indication, I love my friends who know how to have a good time and understand that making jokes at each other’s expense is just a sign of adoration.       Little things like a card in the mail or  a shout out on Facebook are not to be taken for granted. Life Last Week: Second Week of December

Last week I went to BULLETT Magazine “The Secret Issue” Launch and One-Year Birthday Party with Michael C. Hall and Class Actress, saw a great view from a Bushwick rooftop of the Manhattan skyline, and saw my first subway mini-orchestra of the year.

I also wrote a post about how Pinterest is like no other social networkfor 360i’s blog.  A week later, it has been retweeted ninety-six times and is one of the most read posts of the past month.   Continue reading “Life Last Week: Second Week of December”

Life Last Week: First Week of December

manhattan skyline, early morning

I come up with brilliant marketing strategies for my clients at work, but sometimes it requires me to do crazy things.  For example, Sunday morning I had to wake up at 4:30 am after only a few hours of sleep to join the NYC Hiking and Outdoor Adventure Meetup for a sunrise hike across the Brooklyn Bridge. Life Last Week: Fourth Week of November

Taking advantage of the fact myself and all my sisters were home for Thanksgiving, my dad wanted to show off my parents’ new sailboat (and have us help put it up in storage for the winter).  We have been sailing out of Tidewater Marina in Havre de Grace, Maryland for years.  On Saturday, the sky, water, and buildings were all of the same palette of blues and navy.

Life Last Week: Something I Ate (Third Week of November)

Last Friday I went to an event my friend Jose R. Mejia of Cool Hunting curated called Something I Ate at ACME Studio in Williamsburg. Something I Ate was a food/art event where  “creative minds converge[d]…with food being the principle medium.” Continue reading “Life Last Week: Something I Ate (Third Week of November)”
